Thanksgiving day special recipe

Turkey roast in different process


Sour & Spicy Turkey Roast

Ingredients:

  • Turkey 1 piece (10 to 15 lbs)
  • Onion Slice 250 g
  • Olive oil 400 ml
  • Or Butter 500 g
  • Sour curd 500 g
  • Garlic paste 200 g
  • Zinger paste 200 g
  • Coriander leaf paste 150 g
  • Green Chili 100 g
  • Black pepper paste 100 g
  • Poppy seed 200 mg
  • Mace 100 g
  • Salt
  • Cardamom seed power 50 g
  • Cinnamon powder 50 g
  • Sugars 100 g
  •  Lemon juice 100 ml
  • Cream 100 g
  • Tomato,cucumber,Lettuce leaf for decoration

Preparation:

Make your oven preheated at 400°F. Fry  the slice onion for further use.Cut horizontally the

turkey at middle point make two halves. Make some deep straight line in the turkey body as herbs can grow easily. Put this two half turkey in a bowl and sour curd, lemon juice put on the turkey. Mix properly these ingredients with turkey half and marinate at least 1 hour.

Then garlic paste, zinger paste, coriander leaf paste, Black pepper paste, poppy seed paste, mace paste, some sugar mix properly in a bowl. After that put all this mixture into the turkey and smear over with the turkey properly.

Put the two turkey piece into a oven tray and spread over it fine chopped butter. Place the tray into the oven and wait 2 hours. Keep the oven in grill mode.
At this time some vegetables like potatoes, carrot, papaya and cauliflower boiled in a pot. Cut this vegetable as 2” long and 1” thick.

After 2 hours come out the tray and place the turkey in a  plate. Separate the gravy from the tray and put it in a fry pan. Then fry onion, some cream adds this gravy and swathe 1 minute. Now the roast is ready to serve.

Serving

Join the two ½ turkey with a stick as it is seen a full turkey. Put this turkey on a serving plate. The boiled vegetables keep in the plate and the gravy pour out into the vegetables. Use some sliced  tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce leaf to the plate. you can also use boiled corn, peas for decoration.

This is a new recipe for thanksgiving party. Try it at home and enjoy the day.
